A Week Through the Danube Bend

The light in late spring arrives differently here — slanted and amber, softened by the hills folding the river into its banks. These photographs were made over seven days, moving between Szentendre, Visegrád, and Esztergom, each town offering a distinct palette.

Every good photograph is a decision made in a fraction of a second — but the walk that put you there took hours.

Post-processing was kept deliberately light: local adjustments to shadow recovery, a touch of split-toning in the highlights. No colour grading presets were used. The aim was to preserve the quality of available light that made each moment worth stopping for.

The gallery is presented in roughly chronological order, though a few images have been grouped by mood rather than timestamp where the sequence felt more natural that way.
